Mögliche Abhilfe

• Die FPGA Firmware 1.08 [1] (Diskussion im VDR-Portal s.o.) scheint die Kaltstart-Probleme zu minimieren.

• Desweiteren gibt es einen Patch [2], der noch weiter getestet werden muss. Feedback dazu bitte im VDR-Portal abgeben.

• Update: Der Patch ist mittlerweile im aktuellen powarman-Repository integriert.

• Ein verzögertes Laden des saa716x_ff Moduls mit Parameter int_type=1 kann ebenfalls helfen, dazu als root (unter Ubuntu "sudo su") folgenden Befehl ausführen:

echo "blacklist saa716x_ff" > /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-saa716x_ff.conf

Damit wird verhindert, dass der Linux-Kernel das Modul der S2-6400 automatisch beim Start lädt. In der runvdr sollten dann die Funktionen zum Laden der Module genutzt werden
